PhD Session

The PhD session (with lightning session and poster sessions) will provide an ideal opportunity for students to present their ongoing work and get feedback from senior researchers and fellow students.

Important dates
  • Extended abstract submission: Thursday, March 15, 2018 (23:59:59 CET).
  • Author notification: Friday, April 06, 2018.
  • Camera ready paper submission: Friday, April 13, 2018 (23:59:59 CET).
Poster Session

For the poster session, you should have A1 vertical format poster.

To facilitate travel, you can print the poster near the hotel (750m away) and next to the Thomas Hostel. The cost for each A1 size poster is 8.28€ (white background) or 11.52€ (full-color background).
If ordered in the morning, it will be ready the latest on the afternoon. Each printout takes at most 20 minutes.

Submission instructions

The submitted abstracts should be, at most, 4 pages, including the bibliography, and formatted for US letter (not A4) size paper, in a two-column layout, with columns no more than 9.5in tall and 3.5in wide. The manuscripts should start with the title, followed by the author names and their affiliations.

Authors are strongly encouraged to use the IEEE conference proceedings templates. LaTeX submissions should use IEEEtran.cls (version 1.8b, 2015/08/26) in Compsoc Conference Mode (i.e. \documentclass[compsoc, conference, letterpaper, 10pt, times]{IEEEtran}). More details at
